Scratch	Software that allows students of all ages to create animated characters by connecting commands. Incorporates programming logic and uses math skills.
Coffeecup	Very simple Web page creation software that allows a drag and drop approach.
Babarosa	Animated GIF creation software that can create moving logos. (The home site is www.liatro.com but it is Asian. CNET.com or Tucows.com are both reliable download sites.)		Video
Finale Notepad	Create and listen to music on your computer. Does not require students to know music. The basics can be learned as you create tunes. (Treble and bass cleff, allows for a variety of instruments.) Can be used to incorporate math, english and to create memorization tunes for any subject.		Video
Amazing MIDI	This software will create a MIDI file (musical instrument digital interface) for a song.
Google Sketchup	Drafting style software to create 3D shapes and import and manipulate images.
Audacity 1.3	Simple sound recording and editing software. Recordings can be inserted into any software that accepts audio files.		Video
Microsoft Producer	Lets you create a PowerPoint style presentations and present a seperate box for video.
Photo Story 3 for Windows	Simple software for creating slide shows and reports using stories.
Google Earth	See awesome views of the world and photos taken from the actual locations. Excellent resource to teach latitude and longitude and bring the world close to home for your students!
Photobie	Photo editing software with tools comparable to high end software.
GIMP	Photo editing software with tools comparable to high end software.
CMap Tools	Free thought mapping software. You and your students can create a visual layout of your thoughts. Cooperative mapping is also an option.		Video
CutePDF Writer	Freeware for creating PDF documents. PDF files are accessible by most computer owners when some don't have compatible software to open a Word document.
Zamzar	Computer site for converting files. Submit the file format you have and they e-mail the converted format to you.
Swiff Point Player	Add-in for PowerPoint to easily add a SWF (Flash) file to PowerPoints.
