State Assessments for Students with Disabilities
The Texas Assessment Program is a statewide testing program that includes:
STAAR Alternate 2
Most students will take STAAR with or without allowable accommodations (2016 accommodations), but a student with a disability may have choices regarding which of these assessments is most appropriate.
For 2017 STAAR administrations, the state assessment is available in both a paper or online format for all grade levels and all subject areas to any or all students. (The online format is currently available in English only.)
