| I was born and raised in
Dallas, Texas, where I graduated from Skyline High School in
1973. I attended the University of Texas at Austin from
1974-77 and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Health and
Kinesiology. In January of 1978, I moved to the Golden Triangle
area and attended Lamar University and began a teaching career in
Lumberton which I taught Physical Education and coached Junior High
Volleyball, Basketball, and Track. I graduated in 1984 with a Masters of Science in Kinesiology
of Exercise with a specialization in Physiology.
I taught in Vidor ISD for 10 years and Hardin-Jefferson ISD for 5 years. I coached Varsity Volleyball, Basketball, Track, and Cross Country. I have taught Physical Education, Health, Careers, English, and TAAS Remediation. Currently at Evadale ISD. I teach Computer Lit, and Kindergarten through 5th grade computers. I returned once again to McNeese State University where I received my Masters in Educational Technology. I also coach Junior High Volleyball, Basketball, and Track, and Cross Country and Track at the High School Level. Evadale has been an answer to my prayers. This feels like home. I am married to my best friend, Terry Pool, who is also a teacher and coach. We have one son, Jake, who attends Lamar University and a dachshund named "Sport" who has been with us for 11 years. I am very blessed to have the support of my family.
