Services Cooperative
The
purpose of the Region 5 Educational Technology Library Cooperative
is to provide access for librarians to resources, and to provide
professional development to member librarians. The vision of
the program is to improve library functionality, to enable libraries
to operate more economically by sharing resources, provide high
quality, on-going technology professional development to meet
NCLB training requirements and to enable librarians to teach/work
efficiently by providing delivery of the materials to each district
in a timely manner. Region 5 will offer at least 10 professional
development workshops and 4 share sessions for the 05-06 school
year.
