Child Nutrition Services

Region 5 Child Nutrition Services provides school districts and charter schools with a comprehensive range of technical services designed to assist districts to meet federal, state, and local program requirements of the United States Department of Agriculture’s National School Lunch Program. Our staff conduct s SMI technical assistance reviews, trainings during the school year and provides summer workshops for administrative and campus food service personnel.

Goal:
The goal of Child Nutrition Services is to provide information, support, and services that will promote the continuous improvement of child nutrition programs to impact student health and readiness to learn.
