Region 5 Education Service Center, in partnership with Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas applied and received a grant from the U.S. Department of Education. The grant, “Extreme Makeover: Turning Your Students into Historians,” invites teachers to spend 3 weeks in July along with the Sam Houston State University History Department faculty.
