The Information Management Department can arrange training on EDIT+ for district personel as requested.

The advantages to this system include having an online PID inquiry capability and automatically storing past PEIMS filings for up to two years.

The Information Management Department of ESC 5 will handle the needed logon administration duties associated with school personnel EDIT+ logons, but the schools must apply for such logons. The logon applications needed can be found at: www.tea.state.tx.us/peims/editplus/new_user_setup.html.

There are two application forms, one for EDIT+ and the second is for online PID access. Each district should ensure that they have the correct personnel set up so that they can process their PEIMS data correctly and with the privacy required of the data being handled.
