Management Services for Federal Funds

5 Education Service Center offers a management service for
federal funds. We hope that you will seriously consider this
option in the management of your school finances for 2003-2004.
Services
rendered:
- Development
and submission of the federal Standard Application System
(SAS)
- Preparation
of detailed budget(s)
- Preparation
and submission of budget amendments, as needed
- Assistance
with Ed-Flex waiver, if applicable
- Assistance
with interpretation of federal and state regulations
- Electronically
file requests for funds or assist in process
- Review
and monitor the expenditures of funds for compliance
- Assure
that the financial records are “audit ready”

Fees
for Services:
|
Agreement
will be effective for one year beginning July 1, 2005.
Client will pay Region 5 ESC the sum of 1.5% of the relevant
program maximum entitlements with a minimum fee of $500
per program. Participation in this management service
will result in substantial savings to your district.
